My name is Yifei. I am currently a music teacher at HeadsUp! Montessori Preschool and a music instructor at the Injury-Free Music Institute in Palo Alto. With a rich background in Music Performance, Composition and Teaching, he has showcased his talent and dedication to music, published a series of popular song such as Diary of Lost Dream,
Champagne Rose, etc.
About Me and My Music
Yifei Xu, a versatile musician, holds bachelor degree in Music Pedagogy and Master degree in Music Scoring & Composition from Yangzhou University and the Academy of Art University, respectively. In addition to his creative contributions to music, he also has professional skills and techniques regarding performance. As an outstanding educator with more than 10 years of experience, he can play Piano, Guitar, Guzheng, Ukulele, and Drum Set.
In performance, he, as the lead singer, has led his own band to perform at many music festivals. In education, he was lead students to pass the highest level of social examination of Jiangsu Musicians Association -- Level 10, won the title of outstanding teacher in piano competitions such as Chopin International Youth Piano Competition (China Amateur) Open, Lead about 100 students to pass the highestlevel of social music theory examination of China
Conservatory of Music - Level 4 and Lead students to pass Level 4-6 of ABRSM
exams and participated in the compilation of piano teaching materials.
